Hilltoppers open basketball season with Hilltopper Hysteria

You still have the bad taste of the FAU game in your mouth?

That’s okay. We do too. BUT, it’s a-okay, because tonight marks the unofficially official start to the hardwood season, as the men and women Hilltoppers teams will take John Oldham Court for the first time in 2014/15 for Hilltopper Hysteria tonight in Mighty E.A. Diddle Arena!

If you’re in the Bowling Green area and have no plans for the evening, go to Hysteria. You’ll get a free t-shirt, at the very least, plus you’ll get to see free basketball. You live in Kentucky. You love basketball, right?

The evenings festivities include introductions of both the men’s and women’s squads for this year, a men’s and women’s scrimmage, a three-point shooting contest and a slam dunk contest. I hate to admit, but I myself have only ever made it to one HH (last year’s), but boy what a fun evening it was, and I regret having not gone my other two years on the Hill.

It’s a great date or family night, and will be a great chance to see what the newcomers to the Hill can do.
