Who’s Hot? Who’s Not? Taking you around the Hill

It’s time for everyone’s favorite weekly segment! With football on another bye week, it’s time to bring some light on the other sports going on around WKU for our Who’s Hot feature.
ALYSSA CAVANAUGH. HOT. It was a week that saw Ms. Cavanaugh collect 45 kills, two double-digit kill matches, both this past weekend, and a 21)!!!) kill performance against North Texas yesterday. Oh, she did that 21 kill thing while wearing an apparatus and tape on her left leg. Early in the season, we saw production come from all of the five new freshman from the volleyball team, but night in and night out, Cavanaugh is beginning to separate herself from all the rest.. LIBBY STOUT. HOT. Ya’ll, we have ourselves a ProToppers champion! The first ever WKU soccer player to go pro, Libby Stout, is now a champion, along with the rest of her Liverpool Ladies team, as they won the WSL Championship yesterday, moving from third place in the standings when the day began, and winning on a tiebreaker. Stout started 17 of the 21 games for the Reds, and was in goal for the 3-0 shutout over Bristol Academy to clinch the title. Great job from her, and here’s to next year, Libs!. GK. Liverpool Ladies
Also, with football not playing and a 4-1 week between soccer and volleyball, not a whole lot that has gone wrong, but something did happen that caught our eye…
NOT. Even with the bye week, the Hilltoppers gained a ton of ground, and ESPN has been incredibly pleased with the Brohm Squad.<blockquote class=. Bye Week. at FAU Saturday. WKU FOOTBALL
