#4 – Kansas vs. Eastern Kentucky: Well, this certainly is interesting. Maybe not to the national eye, but in two years, Kansas will play two of the directional schools from Kentucky – of course, the near-upset of our Western Kentucky fellows last year, and now this year, they’ll face off with Eastern Kentucky as a 2/15 game on Friday night in St. Louis on TBS. This is a matchup that most hardcore WKU fans will watch with intrigue as opposed to pulling for one team or the other; in this corner, you have the team that, with a little help from the zebra’s, barely escaped the Toppers last year, and some fans (admittedly, myself) are still frustrated with, and think WKU should have come away with the win. In the other, a long-time regional rival, that while might have dwindled away in the past years with WKU moving up to big-boy sports, still is fun to hate on for no apparent reason. This game, I’m pretty sure, was put in here just to smite us Tops fans.
