Kentucky Basketball Game Grades: Trey Lyles takes over

The number one ranked team in the country, Kentucky, looked to continue their “pursuit of perfection” last night with a win over mediocre Mississippi State in Starkville. The Wildcats did just that – defeating the Bulldogs 74-56 to stay perfect at 28-0 overall. Trey Lyles was the leader on the court for Kentucky basketball.

B+. One of the two twins on John Calipari’s roster was on fire against the Dogs! <a href=. G. Kentucky Wildcats. AARON HARRISON

B+. <a href=. G. Kentucky Wildcats. DEVIN BOOKER

C-. Kentucky’s whole roster is usually always attacking in full force. That wasn’t the case against the Bulldogs. Besides Devin Booker’s 14 points, the rest of the bench/second platoon only scored five points. Tyler Ulis had three and Dakari Johnson had two. We can let this game slide, but the whole team has to be dominate next game against Arkansas on Saturday.. Bench. Not very dominate outside of Booker. KENTUCKY WILDCATS
