Red Towel Roundtable: Key Hilltoppers victories

On Friday, the Hilltoppers made history, as they defeated a nationally ranked team for the first time at the FBS level in the thrilling overtime game against the previously-undefeated Marshall Thundering Herd. With this football program growing right in front of our eyes each and every year, there seems to be signature win after signature win for this program, that all of a sudden, is one of the most consistent in the country, after clinching a fourth straight year of bowl eligibility in their first year as a member of Conference USA.

With the growth of the program and the win on Friday, the question that immediately went to my mind, and hopefully yours, was “is this the biggest victory in program history?” I posed this question to our writing staff to see what their view on it was.
