Towel Talk – Michelle Clark-Heard: “Bigger, Faster, Stronger”

What Michelle Clark-Heard has done in her first two years as head coach of the Lady Toppers basketball program is seemingly unprecedented. She took a nine win 2011/2012 team and has recorded back-to-back 20-win seasons, including a matchup last year with Baylor in the NCAA Tournament, taking the Bears toe-to-toe in the first round.

In the first year of Conference USA for the Lady Tops, coach Clark-Heard took time out of her preseason preparations to speak with us about her pre-WKU coaching days, turning a storied program around, and what we can expect from the Lady Tops in their first year of C-USA play.
