Finally, WKU fans got to celebrate the news of Kadeem Jones signing with a pro team in the St. Louis Rams. Jones, who going into the spring of 2012 rivaled Andrews as a possible Bobby Rainey replacement, didn’t carry the ball much, but showed versatility as a receiver with hands as well. Jones finished his Hilltopper career with 15 total touchdowns and 527 yards total (both rushing and receiving). Those numbers might not be eye-popping, but Jones is a situational and short yardage back, having all sorts of power to bust through the line on 2nd/3rd-&-short situations.  The Rams will have plenty of eyes on them, especially after drafting Michael Sam (who we mentioned in the opening slide), and hopefully Jones can work his way onto the 52 man roster in any way possible, and show the league how powerful he can be.
