5 Reasons WKU Fans Should Still Watch The Tournament

#2 – Louisiana Lafayette: As much as I hate to admit it, it’s 100% true – ULL is an awfully fun team to watch, and they have a really good shot to be the only school not named WKU to win a tournament game in quite some time. Elfrid Payton and Shawn Long will get their chance to shine on the national stage. Also, they are matched-up with Creighton, which in my mind, makes for the most interesting first…er, second-round matchup of the tournament. Doug McDermott vs. Payton and Long will be something super fun to watch. Conference pride might not make a lot of sense to some people, but if the Sun Belt can have a great win like this, than I’m all for it (even if WKU is leaving in July).
