Iiiiiiit’s BASEBALL SEASON!

Yes, I know the Bluegrass is a basketball state, and subsequently, WKU is a mostly basketball school, but I am not from Kentucky. And, while I grew up in the heart of college football country, baseball is my sport, and words can’t describe how excited I am that the season is here.

While people like to bash the Sun Belt for poor football or basketball, it has historically been a great baseball conference, and WKU is going to have to put together a fantastic season to leave it’s mark on it in their final season.

Much like Marcus has brought you his Roundball Roundup’s throughout conference play, I present to you – Diamond Dandies. Each week, I’ll take you around the SBC and highlight how each of the 10 member institutions are doing, so you can feel just a little more knowledgeable about the happenings around the league. Much like the Roundball Roundup’s, Diamond Dandies will come out on Monday, and will eventually take the RR’s place once basketball comes to an end.
