The Sun Belt gave us some shockers this past week and the Power Rankings have definitely been effected. So we present this week’s edition of the #RisingSun Power Rankings.

TeamRankPrevious RankRecordThe Story So Far
1111-1, 18-7The Panthers win streak finally ends with 14 as they gain their first loss against Troy in Sun Belt Conference.
268-5, 17-9Fresh on a 5-game win streak, they are playing their best basketball right now as they pick up momentum in the closing weeks.
337-5, 14-9The win streak was cut short as the Ragin Cajuns topped the Red Wolves, leaving A-State stuck once again at the third spot.
429-4, 17-9Inconsistency still plagues the Hilltoppers as they allow South Alabama to gain their second win in the SBC. The Tops have lost momentum as they have dropped two of their last three.
546-6, 11-13After dropping three straight the Mavs bounce back with two consecutive wins. They will have to continue to pick up momentum as they have a tough stretch ahead.
694-8, 9-15The Trojans upset the previously unblemished Panthers giving us enough reason to jump them up to 6th. The Trojans have the potential to beat any SBC squad but inconsistent pal could be their downfall.
785-7, 8-12The Warhawks are coming off their largest conference victory since 2007 with a 16 point margin.
857-7, 12-14The Trojans have bottomed out as they are sliding on a 4-game losing streak. Their average play has caught up with them and will have to turn around if they want to salvage their four remaining games.
973-9, 7-18The Bobcats have themselves their own losing streak as they have dropped three straight. Despite their dominance in holding the lead heading into halftime, they have a hard finishing the second half resulting in a their losing streak.
10102-10, 8-17South Al gains a second win in Sun Belt play as the topped the Hilltoppers. The Jags have a chance to salvage their season if they play similarly to how they did against WKU
