#Rising Sun: Sun Belt Power Rankings (Wk 5)
It is here! Things are getting to the nitty-gritty as we have just a few weeks left to play. Check out this week’s Power Rankings to see where your favorite team is placed!

| 2 | 2 | 8-3, 16-8 | WKU’s win streak ends at six with their loss to the Red Wolves last night in an embarrassing fashion. Their road streak also came to a close with the loss, that streak was one of 12 schools in the nation that went 5-0 in conference play. | |
| 3 | 4 | 6-4, 13-8 | The Red Wolves took down the Hilltoppers last night but that still doesn’t award them a higher position. The inconsistency here of late keeps A-State capped at 3rd, but a quality win against the Tops looks like the Red Wolves could be headed in the right direction. | |
| 4 | 3 | 4-6, 9-13 | The Mavs drop 3 straight losses bumping them down to 4th. The 3 game losing streak is its longest losing period since they dropped 5 in a row back in November. | |

| 7 | 5 | 3-7, 7-16 | The Bobcats have tried to change the tide here of late as they have held the lead at halftime their last 6 outings. They just haven’t been able to close out the games in order to get the victory. | |
| 8 | 7 | 4-6, 7-11 | The Warhawks can’t seem to catch a break as they have just won one out of their last 5 outings. | |
| 9 | 10 | 3-7, 8-14 | The Trojans have won just one out of their last 6 contests and can’t seem to gather any momentum to make a final run in SBC play. They have a tough week at hand as they play the top 2 SBC teams. | |
| 10 | 9 | 1-9, 7-16 | South Al clings to its one win in SBC play and is currently skidding on a 5 game losing streak. |
Fletcher and I debated heavily on where to put the Tops and Red Wolves, especially after last nights matchup. However we concluded due to WKU’s win streak and more consistent play will keep them just ahead of A-State. However if the Red Wolves can win out this week they could find themselves up above the Tops.
