Well folks, it is Tuesday and that means your SBC Power Rankings are here! The Sun Belt provided us a lot of excitement last week with a lot of close victories! With those exciting games having a huge impact on conference play, we now present to you this week’s edition of the Sun Belt Power Rankings.

5-0, 12-6
The Panthers keep rolling as they once again stay perfect in the SBC as well as a 9 game win streak with their phenomenal guard play.

4-2, 9-9
The Trojans go 1-1 on the week, with the one loss to Georgia State. As well as a good road win in OT against WKU.

3-3, 10-7
The Red Wolves suffer two losses this week. Both of those losses coming to top SBC teams. Nearly upset undefeated Georgia State, but lost by one.

The Hilltoppers continue to have a hard time closing out games, and remain streaky as they go 1-1 on the week.

3-2, 12-6
The Ragin Cajuns continue to put up a lot of points, but suffer a bad loss on the road to South Alabama as they go 2-1 on the week.

2-4, 7-11
As the Trojans round out their hosting of the Louisiana teams this week, they go 0-2 to the middle of the SBC teams.

The Warhawks grab two wins this week, however they still lack a sense of identity and don’t seem like a threat to the top ranked teams.

The Mavericks capitalize a victory over bottom of the SBC Texas State and remain steadfast this week in the Power Rankings.

Raising just one position, the Jags maximize a win on the road against the Ragin Cajuns and grab their first conference win.

1-4, 5-13
The Bobcats continue to struggle as they fall 0-2 on the week. They have one sole conference win, that victory coming at Louisiana-Monroe.
Fletcher and I contemplated between the 3rd and 4th positions. I made the argument for WKU to be third, however due to the lack of consistency presented by the Tops, we awarded the Red Wolves the higher rank. We look for this upcoming week to be another intense period of high impacting match ups!
